2011 Holiday Hoopla Blog Hop at My Mind's Eye

Sorry I haven't been up to date on my blog but my computer was down. I have missed out on so much these past two months, like the layout competition on My Mind's Eye blog which I always look forward to and much more.  I have finally fixed my PC and now I have seen all the great layouts from so many creative scrappers, they are awesome.  Now I want to let everyone know that there's a blog hop going on at My Mind's Eye!!! They are giving away TWO complete collections to one lucky winner, "12 Days of Christmas" and both "Kraft Funday" collections, isn't that great! The second runner up receives the complete "12 Days of Christmas" collection.  So hurry on over to My Mind's Eye because you will only have until midnight December 28 to participate. Not only will you have a chance to win these great kits, you will also get great ideas from all the blogs on the blog hop. I hope to be one of the lucky winners, keeping my fingers crossed!!

Until next time xoxo

A shout out to Natasha!

I forgot to mention that my friend Natasha was promoted to Design Team Coordinator for Donna Salazar Designs!  Congratulations, Natasha!!! If you haven't seen her work you should really stop by her blog, Moments of Tranquility and leave a comment.  She is so talented and has inspired me so.  I truly love her work and I know that once you see her layouts you will agree with me.

Autumn's Arrival

Hi everyone!  Autumn is such a great season.  If there's one thing I miss the most of my hometown is this season where you feel that cool air, the leaves on the trees change color and you can go to the fields to pick pumpkins and apples, ah I wish I was there.  To remind me of all I'm missing, my sister sends me photos each year of her family picking pumpkins. It's such a fun time and they always buy pumpkin pie and apple cider, yummy!  Well hopefully I'll be able to enjoy this season next year with my family.

My Mind's Eye blog challenge 28 theme is "Fall".  The template to follow has 3 photos with the title running along the right hand side.

Here's my pick of the layout. The papers I used are Rosy "Love" Blossoms,  "Best of Friends" Celebrate from Lost & Found Two and Hazel "Mother" Ledger from Stella & Rose.  I cut the title using the cartridge "Cuttin' Up" from Cricut and the paper "Best of Friends" Lost & Found Two.  Laced ribbon and brads is from Stella & Rose, layered chipboad is from Lost & Found Two and the journal tag is from "So Sophie" collection.  Distress ink is Walnut from Ranger.

I hope you all enjoy my layout, until next time.
