You

Hello,

It seems that I'm only posting when it's MME blog challenge, lol.  Well I hope to do better.  The theme of this month's challenge is "You".  I wasn't going to participate this month's challenge.  I couldn't make up my mind which photos to place on this layout.  Finally I chose these two pics of my girls as we visited a Science Museum.  They had a good time looking at all the old telephones and the first computers of the good old days.  I'm pretty good at keeping my layouts as is but I just might change the pics again : /

This is the sketch from Anam Stubbington, love it!

Blog Challenge 31 At My Mind's Eye

Hello,

It's that time again, blog challenge at My Mind's Eye.  I love the template that Anam Stubbington created.  The theme of the layout is "New".  Here's a look at the template.

When our beloved Laila died I didn't want to adopt another dog.  After a month of her death my daughters decided that they really wanted a puppy but I wasn't ready to have another dog at home.  Well my husband went around our neighborhood asking around if anyone had puppies they wanted to give away for adoption.  When he came across this puppy he just had to have her.  I remember him bringing the puppy home and when my youngest daughter saw her she immediately fell in love.  One thing I know for sure is that one look at those sad blue eyes can convince anyone to love her.

This is my take for the blog challenge.  I love the circles.  For one of the circles I decided to incorporate the flower chipboard with the buttons going around it.  I hand made the flower and inked all the petals placing a small chipboard button in the middle.  All products used are from Kraft Funday - Bright Days Collection, except for the cardstock with journaling, distress ink, Ranger and letter stickers are from Basic Grey. To cut the circles I used Martha Stewart circle cutter. The border punch is from EK.

Until next time, xoxo
