I Won!!

I want to thank My Mind's Eye for choosing me as a winner of CHA Sneak Peek.  When I saw my name on the list I had to double check to make sure it was me, lol.  I'm happy : ) to say that I won the collection "Follow Your Heart - Be Amazing" collection! All of their new lines are stunning, beautiful details and colors.  If you haven't seen them head on over to their site and check them out.  I guarantee you will love them.  I want to congratulate Jenny Evans for winning 1st place and Jody Rogers for winning 2nd place on the blog challenge 31 of My Mind's Eye, their layouts are beautiful.

Until next time,

Blog Challenge 31 At My Mind's Eye

It's that time again, blog challenge at My Mind's Eye.  I love the template that Anam Stubbington created.  The theme of the layout is "New".  Here's a look at the template.

When our beloved Laila died I didn't want to adopt another dog.  After a month of her death my daughters decided that they really wanted a puppy but I wasn't ready to have another dog at home.  Well my husband went around our neighborhood asking around if anyone had puppies they wanted to give away for adoption.  When he came across this puppy he just had to have her.  I remember him bringing the puppy home and when my youngest daughter saw her she immediately fell in love.  One thing I know for sure is that one look at those sad blue eyes can convince anyone to love her.

This is my take for the blog challenge.  I love the circles.  For one of the circles I decided to incorporate the flower chipboard with the buttons going around it.  I hand made the flower and inked all the petals placing a small chipboard button in the middle.  All products used are from Kraft Funday - Bright Days Collection, except for the cardstock with journaling, distress ink, Ranger and letter stickers are from Basic Grey. To cut the circles I used Martha Stewart circle cutter. The border punch is from EK.

Until next time, xoxo
