"Love Grows Here"

Hi everyone,
I'm excited to share with you all a scrapbook class I will be teaching on
Saturday December 7 at Farmacia La 110 in Moca, Puerto Rico.
In this class I will be teaching a mix media mini album using
distress oxide ink, stencils with modeling paste,
stamping and so much more. The album is called
"Love Grows Here Mini Album".
Come by and join me for a fun filled day, I know you will love it as much
as I have loved creating it. Here are a couple of photos of the album.
I have to say that this is one of my favorite albums I have done.

Many blessings to you and I will be seeing you soon!

Serendipity Album

Hi everyone,

What a fun day we had yesterday! I taught a group of lovely ladies this
album I created featuring Bobunny's
Serendipity paper collection.  This paper collection is so gorgeous
and fun to work with.

On the cover I decorated with Serendipity Noteworthy die cuts and
some chipboard frames.  I stamped a sentiment on the center
and placed the floral die cut on top using
some pop dots to give it dimension. I also used various
stamps throughout the pages of my album.

I distressed all the edges using Tim Holtz distress ink in Walnut Stain.

The colors and designs of this collection are so stunning and easy to work with.

I had such a great time teaching this class and
I want to thank everyone who participated.  We all had a wonderful time
making this album and I know it will hold
many beautiful memories in it.

Thank you for stopping by, have a blessed day!

Until next time,

Ana

P.S. the binding of my album is from Kathy's patent binding system.  You can find it here

New Christmas Collections!

Hi everyone,

Did I ever mention I work at a scrapbook store? Hmm I don't think
I did! Well it's half a pharmacy and half a scrapbook
store. One of the advantages is that I get to see first
hand all the new scrapbook products that come out each
season (I'm always on the look out).

First let me tell you that the Bobunny's "Christmas Village" collection
is beautiful!!! Love it so much, from the colors to the
graphic designs.  I collect ceramic Christmas houses so
this collection will be perfect for all those photos I have (perfect name for this
paper collection).  You know I will be making a mini album with
these papers!!  I can't wait to start creating with it.
Click here to see the "Christmas Village" collection.

Another Christmas collection that I can't wait to see up close
is the Tim Holtz Idea-ology "Christmas/Noel"!!! Love the color combinations
and patterns.  I would love this one in 12x12 and 8x8 paper pads to create
my Christmas cards, mini albums and home decor.
The mini ephemera are too cute to pass up,
you have to see them, adorable.
Click here to see "Christmas/Noel" collection.

There are so many other companies that have come out with
beautiful Christmas collections, Simple Stories - Simple Vintage Christmas,
Prima - Santa Baby and Carta Bella - Santa's Workshop to name a few.

Anyway, let me know what collections I should have a look at, I just might
grab it up and create something beautiful with it.

Thank for stopping by, talk to you soon,

Until next time,
xoxo

I'm Back!!!

Hello!!!!

Can it really be three years since my last post?
Wow (smh), I'm sorry that I have been MIA.
These past years have been a bit hectic to say the least.
Not to sound too dreadful, my family and I have survived a hurricane last year
and now life is slowly returning to normal, in the sense of internet and cell phone service
(sometimes we still have a few issues with that) but life has to go on.
I got to a point that I just stopped doing what I truly love and that is creating
scrapbooks and projects but I have realized that I shouldn't
give up on what truly makes me happy and so here I am again.
I am hoping to post at least twice a month from here on out.
I would love to hear from you guys on what you have been creating.

Please feel free to send me a link of any YouTube videos
you might have made showing your projects, I would love
to see them and start following you.

Well that's all for now, until next time!

Sail With Me Altered Canvas

Hello fellow scrappers,

Today I want to share an altered canvas that shows my daughter's
favorite past time, the beach.  She loves anything that has to do
with beach and lucky for us we live only five minutes away to the closest one.

I had taken this photo of her and I knew that I wanted to
place it on a canvas.  I had put off working on it for awhile
because I really didn't want to just place the photo on paper and glue
it down on the canvas.  As I was walking by the frames section at Walmart I came
across the perfect solution for my photo, a 4 x 6 frame.

I was so excited to start working on my canvas that I completely
forgot to video tape each step I took in creating it, so sorry about that.
On the YouTube video I explained what I did but if
you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment and I will gladly answer.

Here is my YouTube video.  I show you all the products I
used in making my canvas.

Nautical Mini Folio Album

Hi all,

Valentine's Day is coming up and my daughter asked me
if I can make a mini album that she can give her boyfriend. Lucky
for her she let me know what she wanted at the beginning of the
year so I had plenty of time to start on it and be able to
find the right papers since she wanted the album to have a nautical theme.

I knew this was going to be a challenge for me
because in order to create I have to find a paper
collection that makes me happy just looking at them lol.  Let's just say that
if I love the paper I'm using on an album my creativity
sparks and I'm able to come up with lots of ideas in
decorating my pages.

As it turned out I found the perfect paper collection from Carta Bella
called Ahoy There.  It's all nautical just like she wanted
and the colors are vibrant as well as the stickers.
I also picked up a couple of different papers from
different companies that went well back with the paper pack.

The end result is a fabulous mini folio album that my
daughter loved as I'm sure her boyfriend will too.

Here are a couple of photos and my YouTube video.

This mini album hold up to 85 photos can you believe it!!  I so enjoyed making
it, hope you like it so please leave some comments below and
follow my blog as well as subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Thanks for watching.

Until next time,
Ana
