Sail With Me Altered Canvas

Hello fellow scrappers,

Today I want to share an altered canvas that shows my daughter's
favorite past time, the beach.  She loves anything that has to do
with beach and lucky for us we live only five minutes away to the closest one.

I had taken this photo of her and I knew that I wanted to
place it on a canvas.  I had put off working on it for awhile
because I really didn't want to just place the photo on paper and glue
it down on the canvas.  As I was walking by the frames section at Walmart I came
across the perfect solution for my photo, a 4 x 6 frame.

I was so excited to start working on my canvas that I completely
forgot to video tape each step I took in creating it, so sorry about that.
On the YouTube video I explained what I did but if
you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment and I will gladly answer.

Here is my YouTube video.  I show you all the products I
used in making my canvas.

Nautical Mini Folio Album

Hi all,

Valentine's Day is coming up and my daughter asked me
if I can make a mini album that she can give her boyfriend. Lucky
for her she let me know what she wanted at the beginning of the
year so I had plenty of time to start on it and be able to
find the right papers since she wanted the album to have a nautical theme.

I knew this was going to be a challenge for me
because in order to create I have to find a paper
collection that makes me happy just looking at them lol.  Let's just say that
if I love the paper I'm using on an album my creativity
sparks and I'm able to come up with lots of ideas in
decorating my pages.

As it turned out I found the perfect paper collection from Carta Bella
called Ahoy There.  It's all nautical just like she wanted
and the colors are vibrant as well as the stickers.
I also picked up a couple of different papers from
different companies that went well back with the paper pack.

The end result is a fabulous mini folio album that my
daughter loved as I'm sure her boyfriend will too.

Here are a couple of photos and my YouTube video.

This mini album hold up to 85 photos can you believe it!!  I so enjoyed making
it, hope you like it so please leave some comments below and
follow my blog as well as subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Thanks for watching.

Until next time,
Ana

Friend

Hi all,

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, I just can't believe
how quickly time goes by.  I want to share with you
a card I had made a couple of months ago
(the truth is I forgot to post it on my blog :/ and to top it off
I just snapped one photo of the card
before giving it to my friend).

Oh well, in an effort to show you my card at different angles I opened it on picture
manager on my computer and crop it down to give you a closer look.

I mixed and matched different papers to create my card.
The bottom portion is an older collection from Prima, sorry I can't recall
the name.

The large flower and the friend stickers (Lyric collection) is also from Prima.

The banner I cut out from the sheet of paper (Love Me - My Mind's Eye)
and pop it up with 3D foam dots.  The banner with the brad is
also from My Mind's Eye and the brad is from Prima.

The top portion of the card and brad is from My Mind's
Eye - Lost & Found 3.

I placed a doilie at the top part of my card as well as my tag.
The top of the card has an opening where I inserted the tag.
I placed the small flowers at the corners, I bought them from a local craft
store as well as the butterfly.
All my edges are distress with walnut stain ink.

I hope you enjoyed my card and please feel free to
leave some comments.

Until next time,
Ana
