Layout of MME Challenge
I finally finished my layout for MME challenge. I must admit that I really liked how the layout turned out. The papers I used were from Lost & Found 1 & 2 as well as the brads, gems and ribbon. The journal card is from MME So Sophie collection. The letters are American Crafts (reality), they were white and I painted over them with acrylic paint, the sticker letters are of Provo Craft. I used the distress tool of Tim Holtz around the circle and used distress ink around all the edges of the circle, journal card and journal strips.

MME Contest
It's that time again, MME monthly contest. This time the theme is "Back to _________". I'm still working on my layout so hopefully I'll finish it by the deadline which is Sept. 25th. If I feel up to it I'll probably participate in the card challenge as well. This is the layout template of MME challenge #27.

Nasty Comments!
My habit of everyday is to go through my favorite blogs and check if there are new posts or layouts. You can imagine my surprise when I read in Natasha's blog, moments-of-tranquility, how some scrappers leave comments to discourage her from creating beautiful pages. I don't know why anyone would try to put another person down, what do they get out of that! I just want to say that Natasha's work has inspired me in so many ways, from trying new techniques to making my own flowers. Thanks Natasha for sharing such gorgeous layouts, please don't let those ignorant comments stop you from doing what you love to do. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your creations.

Card Challenge #26
I wasn't going to participate in MME card challenge but at the last minute I said to myself why not, might as well. All the products I used are from the Lost & Found Two. For the scallop edge on the tags I used Fiskars scissors and distress ink from Ranger. I must admit I like the way it turned out.

MME Blog Challenge 26
Another month of layout challenge at MME. I so love these challenges! For this challenge "Anything Goes" which is less stressful then when you have to stick to one specific theme. The background paper, embroidery thread and brads are from the Lost & Found collection, the stripes and yellow papers and frames are Stella & Rose, the photo mat, journal card and title is from So Sophie and the border punch is of EK.

Here is my take on this sketch. I created the flowers using the papers from MME. I cut the transparency frame and used it as a border.
Well that's my take on the challenge and I so enjoyed creating this layout.

Blog Challenge #25 Layout
This is my layout for the blog challenge #25 at MME. The theme is celebration and the sketch is from Anam Stubbington.

I had these photos taken over a year celebrating Jessica the Bear's second birthday and I couldn't find the right papers to create a layout. When I saw the Hip Hooray collection I knew they would go perfect with the photos.
This is my layout which was created using the background paper Lost & Found & Hip Hooray all others. Die cuts are from Hip Hooray, brads, ribbons, buttons are from Lost & Found. Frame, journal tag & sticker from Stella & Rose.

Party Celebration at MME!!
There is a party going on at MME! How exciting!! They are giving away all the new collections they posted last week to one lucky winner (I'm hoping I win!). All you have to do is begin at MME blog and hop on over to 7 blog designers, leave a comment and collect 7 words. At the end e-mail amber@mymindseye.com with all the words. There will also be another winner, one collection of their choice from MME. Now I'm ready to go and start hopping along the blogs for my chance to win!
